EVENT DETAILS:

WHAT: The Easter Festival is a free, family fun, community outreach event. There will be inflatables, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, giveaways, and more. This year, we are also hosting a shoe distribution at the festival in partnership with Samaritan’s Feet and thanks to your generous giving.

WHEN: Sunday, March 22, 2026 | 12:30–4 PM

WHERE: Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park (downtown Beaufort)

WHO: This event is for anyone and everyone but is especially fun for families with young children. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!

COST: The event is 100% FREE for all who attend.

REGISTRATION: We will have a registration tent where parents can register their families so that we can gather some basic info and be entered to win various prizes throughout the afternoon!

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

  • We challenge EVERY single person at Tidal Creek to invite at least one person to the Easter Festival! Want to invite five or ten? Even better! Pick up invitation cards at the Guest Services Desk, the Next Steps Wall, or in Creek Kids.

  • Place packages of individually wrapped candy in the designated box in the lobby. Your donations will be used as giveaways during the festival. Candy is due by March 17.

  • If God puts it on your heart to give in other ways, please contact Wendy to learn about specific needs. For instance, you can donate prizes for the raffle drawings. You can also simply designate a financial gift to “Easter Festival” to be used where most needed.

  • We will have one service at 9:15 AM on March 22 (no Creek Kids program), and the Easter Festival is from 12:30–4 PM. We encourage you to attend that service and then serve at the festival. Follow this link or select the button below to sign up online for a volunteer shift or visit the table in the TCF lobby to sign up in-person.

    FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS:

    First Shift: 10:30 AM–2:00 PM – This shift will set up the station and run the station until 2 PM. Lunch will be provided for the volunteers of this shift.

    Second Shift: 2:00 PM–5:00 PM - The volunteers on this shift will run the station from 2–4 PM, and then at 4 PM will close the station and help tear down and clean up.

    Load In/Out Crew: If you aren’t able to help during the event, we will also need help loading the trailer at the church before and after.

    SHOE DISTRIBUTION VOLUNTEERS:

    12:00–4:30 PM – Volunteers for shoe distribution will arrive at noon for a mandatory briefing with Samaritan's Feet and will serve until the distribution ends. This could be before the end of the festival if we run out of shoes, but please plan to be there from 12:00–4:30 PM.

    ALL VOLUNTEERS: Please wear your new Tidal Creek t-shirt. If you don't have one yet, let Wendy know what size shirt you need.

Here are some answers to questions you may have about our Easter services, but if you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@tidalcreek.net!)

  • PALM SUNDAY • MARCH 29
    We will have TWO identical worship services at 9:15 & 11:00 AM (our normal service times) on Palm Sunday, March 29 as we begin to observe and celebrate Holy Week.

    GOOD FRIDAY • APRIL 3
    We are partnering with the Baptist Church of Beaufort for a special worship service on Good Friday, April 3 from 7-8:30 PM at Baptist Church of Beaufort. We hope you'll join us as we take time to remember the death and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus.

    EASTER SUNDAY • APRIL 5
    We will have THREE worship services on Easter Sunday:

    • DAYBREAK SERVICE • 8:00 AM - This service will be a shorter, smaller, and more intimate worship service and will last about 40 minutes. No childcare will be offered for this service.

    • WORSHIP SERVICES • 9:15 & 11 AM - These identical services will feature our full worship team and will last about an hour and 15 minutes. Creek Kids will be available during the services for children ages birth to 5th grade.

  • YES! Here is what will be available for each service during Holy Week**:

    • PALM SUNDAY: Our full Creek Kids program will be available. (Click here to see how this is structured a little differently depending on which service you attend).

    • GOOD FRIDAY: Childcare will be available at BCOB for children ages birth through kindergarten.

    • EASTER SUNDAY:

      • We will NOT have Creek Kids/childcare at the Daybreak Service (8 AM).

      • We WILL have our full Creek Kids program for birth-5th grade BOTH 9:15 & 11 AM services on Easter Sunday for the full service!

    **Be sure to CHECK-IN your children PRIOR to entering the worship service. Find out more about Creek Kids here.

  • We will livestream our Palm Sunday service at 9:15 AM EST*.

    You can access the livestream on our Livestream page which you can find using the “WATCH” link in the menu at the top of this page, or you can watch live on our Facebook page or Youtube channel.

    *(If you’re not able to watch the service live, the recording of the livestreamed service will be available on-demand if you’d like to watch it at 11:00 or any other time! Visit this link to access our sermon library).

  • While we will only be livestreaming the 9:15 AM service on Palm Sunday & Easter Sunday, the recording of these services will be available almost immediately concluding that service and will be available to watch at 11 AM, or at any time!
